Morning Session

The school day starts at 8.45 a.m. Children are supervised on the playground from 8.30 a.m. when both gates are opened. The gates are closed at 8.45 a.m. and all children should be in class by this time.

There is a mid-morning break of 15 minutes for all children – Years 3 and 4 at 10.35 a.m. followed by Years 5 and 6 at 10.55 a.m.

Children may bring a healthy snack such as a piece of fruit or cheese. No cereal bars due to nut content please.

Lunchtime is a social occasion when school dinner children eat with those who bring a packed lunch from home. In fine weather, lunch may be taken outside.

Please note that, in order to protect our children who have severe nut allergies we have adopted a NO NUTS policy. Please ensure that any snacks and packed lunches do not contain nuts of any sort including peanut butter spread. Thank you for your co-operation and understanding in this matter.

Afternoon Session

The school bus to Milford leaves promptly at the end of school. Unless they are involved in an official ‘after school’ activity, all children should have been collected and be off-site by 3.30pm.

If you are going to be late to collect your children, please ensure you telephone the school office (01428 683071) to avoid any upset or worry.
