Home School Agreement

The Chandler has a Home School Agreement which parents/carers, teachers and children are asked to sign up to. It is drawn up in order to emphasise the importance of a partnership approach to education, with both school and home working together in the best interests of your child.

Effective partnership between home and school is key to children reaching their potential. Our home school agreement sets out the school’s responsibilities towards the pupils, the responsibilities of the parents or carers, and what the school expects of the pupils. It is designed to help them reach the highest possible standards of achievement, attitude and behaviour.

Together we will:

Support children’s learning to help them achieve their best
Encourage the children to follow the school rules, respecting others and the world around them.
Enable the children, within a Christian community, to develop into capable and competent young people who will take responsibility for their own future.
